An NEP Orientation Program was organized at B. P. Baria Science Institute, Navsari, on 16 July 2026 to familiarize students with the National Education Policy (NEP) and its educational framework. The program aimed to provide students with a clear understanding of the structure and key features of the NEP system.
The primary objective of the program was to help students understand:
· The meaning and significance of the National Education Policy (NEP).
· The basic structure and framework of the NEP system.
· The changes and opportunities introduced through the new education system.
· The importance of multidisciplinary and flexible learning.
During the orientation, a detailed lecture was delivered on “What is NEP?” The session explained the basic concept, objectives, and important features of the National Education Policy. Students were also introduced to the benefits of the NEP system, including multidisciplinary learning, flexibility in education, skill development, holistic development, and greater opportunities for academic and career growth.
The interactive lecture helped students understand how NEP can provide greater flexibility in selecting subjects and developing diverse skills. Students actively participated in the session and gained useful information about the new educational system.
The NEP Orientation Program was informative and beneficial for the students. It helped them develop a better understanding of the NEP structure, objectives, and educational framework. The program successfully created awareness among students and encouraged them to understand and adapt to the changing higher education system.
